How do you get Battery Percentage on iPod 5th Gen (iOS 7)

Hello, I have an iPod 5th Gen with iOS 7 on it and is there a way to get an option that you can turn on/off the Battery Percentage, I have been watching a couple videos and it didn't help me. I want the Battery Percentage showing on my iPod, so I can plug it in straight away without any warning messages that keeps coming up.

Can somebody help me?
