ethernet problem

I have a strange problem with my internet connection. I am only able to use ethernet cable in my job and home. When I plug ethernet cable, ethernet connection sign in Network turns green and everything seems fine, but I cannot connect to internet. I`ve triede other computers and they are fine. I can also access to internet via a Windows7 in a partitioned disk in my Mac. I have a Macbook pro and I think I did try many things so far to solve this problem, without much success. What can be the problem and any ideas to solve this?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
