Q: My iTunes says "not responding" everytime I open it since the last update

Ever since I downloaded 11.1.1 iTunes hasn't worked.  It acutally barely worked when it updated to 11.  I tried opening it in safe mode and reinstalling it. It locks up and when I open task manager it says "Not Responding."
