DRM protected music files
Can you not update music files anymore so they are DRM free? I've looked all over iTunes but can't find an option to do it, though I know you used to be able to "upgrade" your songs..

That facility used to be available, paid for on a song by song basis. It was withdrawn in favour of 'iTunes Match' as roaminggnome has described above, at $24.99 per year.
This worked for me! It took less than a minute after I figured out to do this! Thanks for the suggestion.
