Test your suggestions before making them. Don't waste other peoples time with untested 'remedies'

Mar 5, 2014 2:12 AM in response to jayv.by petermac87,So you are saying that out of '196 pages of nonsense' you are the only one to post on topic and with a suggestion? Have you read the whole thread? Do you always tell others to be beta testers for you?

Mar 5, 2014 2:17 AM in response to Csound1by jayv.,Really, referring me to the TOU?
I believe the point you are horribly misquoting is "Test your answer. When possible, make sure your Submission works on your own computer before you post it."
When possible. I was not able to test it as I was not home. When possible des not mean it is a must.
You may want to familiarize yourself with the page, you can find it here. Pay special attention to:
Submissions
- Stay on topic.

Mar 5, 2014 2:21 AM in response to jayv.by petermac87,You could have waited to post when you got home and had tested the beta yourself. Why the rush? Accolades? Top Steve mentioned it pages back.

I pointed out a new product and asked if someone would give it a shot, I did not tell anyone to do anything they do not want to do. As pointed out earlier someone has tried it and was happy with the results. So what's the problem exactly? You don't use beta software, fine. Does this mean other can't and won't? No.

Mar 5, 2014 2:24 AM in response to petermac87by jayv.,Accolades?
Really? That's the first thing that came to mind for you? Guess that's why you are here? No Pete, I am here to help others, I could care less about accolades.

Mar 5, 2014 2:29 AM in response to jayv.by petermac87,Please stay on topic. And answer the question if it is possible. Why the rush to ask someone else to beta test it rather than wait till you got home and tested it first?

Mar 5, 2014 2:39 AM in response to jayv.by beninabox,Someone mentioned a while back they they are getting bombarded with lots of separate emails each time someone posts. That's happening with me. As much as I am entertained by the back and forth between you, Petermack and Csound, do you know if there is a way to keep up to date on possible solutions to the original question, in digest form? thanks.

Tried SyncMate 5 beta, it's works perfect! . . . .
P.S. You have ability to choose which way to sync: Mac <--> iDevice, Mac --> iDevice, iDevice --> Mac
To clarify, does SyncMate 5 enable synchronising by USB?
BTW is it possible to filter email notifications for this thread? I think many of us would prefer to just see messages from people who are genuinely asking or answering relevant questions.

Mar 5, 2014 4:33 AM in response to Gerrit7by Bigtzn,I have just been testing SyncMate 5 Beta for the last hours syncing via USB with my MacBookPro running Mavericks and iPhone 5S and Ipad 3 so far it works perfectly. Only one comment makes sure you quit Contacts and Calendar in both Mac and iPhone/iPad before syncing. No problems found so far!!!
