Finally, this thread can die....
Let's hope it is the same like before! No limitations and stuff. Did anyone try it during its beta days?

Was its USB sync the same as previous versions (10.8.x and older)?

May 15, 2014 10:57 AM in response to snozdopby applejpmc,On the beta version it only syncs Contacts and Calendar (NOT notes) - have not tried the new update so cannot say if the local sync on Notes has been reinstated as well.

May 15, 2014 11:01 AM in response to applejpmcby snozdop,Notes syncing hasn't been re-instated and was never supposed to be. That was removed from OS X long before the recent contacts and calendar syncing vanished temporarily.

The combo update (which I always use, instead of the partial ones) is just under 1GB. (947MB)

I totally disagree, must send some feedback to Apple on that.
