May 17, 2014 10:06 AM in response to Donot Haveoneby gumsie,Do you also have iTunes 11.2.1? If so then something sounds wrong. If not, download and install and post back with results. I think you need both.

Whew. Cannot select calendars and contacts to sync, however--the 'sync all' and 'sync selected' options are there, but 'sync selected' is grayed out and unselectable.

You have to sync all calendars & contacts before you are able to highlight single ones. I guess without the initial sync the Mac doesn't know what data is on the device. After the sync toggle 'sync selected' & you can select the individual items.

May 18, 2014 8:20 AM in response to TopSteveby brollyjohn,Yeah TopSteve. This thread is over. Give it a break man. Sheesh!
Now it's just a soon to be closed echo chamber for those who did their best to convince everyone stuck for over 6 months without usb sync to move their data into the icloud.
4 guys who made up about 40% of this discussion defending apple's poor decision to the every end.
Sour grapes.

This is off thread but I feel the nead to defend my self.
I would kindley ask for people to stop being so personal. I have only every posted on this thread in responce to others. Condersiding there has been others posting on this thread scince Apple release OS X 10.9.3 and Itunes 11.2.1 I don't see the need to single me out.

May 19, 2014 2:41 AM in response to Gerrit7by Everett19,I am equally outraged. I don't like the cloud. I read a lot about how it is vulnerable to interception by governments etc. At least with our own computers we have some control over our data. I do not see why I should be forced into using a facility that I do not wish to use. I have to say that when I next change computers, it will not be a Mac that I choose.
Is there any way of getting back to the previous version of the software so I don't have to put up with this nonsense?
-
May 19, 2014 2:50 AM in response to Everett19by Csound1,Why bother when the current version of the software has USB synch?
FYI, if governements want your data it won't matter where you store it.
