Q: Macbook Pro trackpad is spazzing out. How do I fix this?

My Macbook Pro trackpad is not working. It has been spazzing out all yesterday and it still will not work today. The mouse will click random things and not go where I want it to go. Sometimes it will start working fine for a minute, but then it will go back to clicking random things without me even touching it. This started happening immediately after I downloaded a song from iTunes. I've tried putting my computer to sleep, restarting it, and shutting it down. I've also tried unplugging everything from it (ethernet cable and power cord). I am a college student without a car, so I cannot bring it into an Apple Store any time soon. Also last night the backlight on my keyboard would not shut off even though it was set to shut off after five seconds of no use. Please help! My computer is nearly impossible to use and it is only two months old.
