LG HBS 730 with iphone 5s

i bought this head phone a week ago and on the day I bought it it worked effortlessly with my iphone 5s then over thex couple of days i noticed that the volume buttons and foast forward, pause buttons would no longer work. i thought it was a faulty head set I got verizion to replace with no issues as i was still in my 14 day reolacement time frame. the sent me a new one.. with same issue.. so i disconnected and synced with my old Iphone 4 it worked just perfect.. alll buttons worked.. does any one know if there is a fix for the Iphone 5s? i love the portabiltyy of the headsetss..
