Running very slow in 10.8.5

Hi,

I am one of they few it seems who are having 10.8.5 slow issues. Following up on an earlier thread whre one other user was asked to paste a diagnostic command into terminal and see if it generated any output, I did the same thing. The command was:

syslog -k Sender kernel -k Message CReq 'Channel t|GPU D|I/O|find tok|n Cause: -' | tail | open -ef

The result was:

Oct 14 17:57:31 Bobs-MacBook-Pro kernel[0] <Debug>: nspace-handler-update: did not find token 417157

--- last message repeated 1 time ---

Oct 14 18:03:46 Bobs-MacBook-Pro kernel[0] <Debug>: nspace-handler-unblock: did not find token 417157

Oct 18 23:03:00 Bobs-MacBook-Pro kernel[0] <Debug>: nspace-handler-update: did not find token 583927

Oct 18 23:19:53 Bobs-MacBook-Pro kernel[0] <Debug>: nspace-handler-unblock: did not find token 583927

Oct 19 09:29:28 Bobs-MacBook-Pro kernel[0] <Debug>: nspace-handler-unblock: did not find token 588563

Oct 20 10:35:42 Bobs-MacBook-Pro kernel[0] <Debug>: Previous Shutdown Cause: -60

Oct 20 20:36:43 Bobs-MacBook-Pro kernel[0] <Debug>: nspace-handler-unblock: did not find token 211

Oct 20 20:39:01 Bobs-MacBook-Pro kernel[0] <Debug>: nspace-handler-unblock: did not find token 320

Any ideas?

I had previous Safari crashing issues but these were solved (sadly) by switching to other browsers. Or were they just hidden?

Thanks in advance,

-Bob
