Q: When I open my iPhoto library it suddenly quits

My iPhoto library opens for a few seconds and then quits. In the report it gives this error message

Application Specific Information:

*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '*** -[__NSArrayM insertObject:atIndex:]: object cannot be nil'

How can I fix this?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

Assuming you're running iPhoto 9 or later Try the following:

1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.

2 - Run Option #4, Rebuild Database.
