What does it mean when the console icon is showing the words WARNI? Can the console log indicate if some one has been hacking into you computer account and if so hwo would you be able to identify it?

The "WARNI" on the Console application icon is just part of the icon and does not imply any ability of the app to detect ill intentioned activity. In fact, the console logs only display messages that have been sent by the system and various applications. There is no analytical capability in the application whatsoever. By and large the console logs can only be fully interpreted by knowledgable system and/or application developers. However some power users may be able to infer the source of a problem from the log messages.
