format leopard

I have a macbook pro, i think it is about 5 years old. It runs OS X 10.5.8.
How can I reset it (format it)? I don't have the installation disk anymore.

Phone AppleCare and order a replacement install disk, or if you don't need iLife or the Apple Hardware Test, buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD from the online Apple Store.
