First of all Leonie let me salute you for your admirable quality of willingness to hear out and answer 'troublesome and even, one could so say, anger-causing questions' such as the one I posed!
Leonie, from the year 2005 onwards, there has been a flood of new songs pouring into my heart. All of them have been unsought for! I am riding a cycle on my way to work, and suddenly, out of the blue, a song bursts into my heart. All of them are Christian songs...I happen to be a Christian.
Some of these songs come out at once, and some come 'bit after bit'. For some songs, I just have with me the initial verse, but later, when I sit [in the presence of the Lord], I am helped to get the rest of the stanzas.
I have brought out 5 audio CDs of these songs thus far. I have engaged the services of a professional music composer to compose the music for these songs. To do so, I had to visit his studio and sing out the songs one after another. After hearing each song, he used to set the tempo and scale for the song and later give me a 'rough music track'. I used to practise singing the songs using the rough track and when 'perfect' we used to fix a date on which we used to record the songs. After editing it properly, he gives me the Mix Master of the song album.
I have more of these songs [about 50] with me...'ready with me' , and seek to have music tracks composed for them too. Some of these songs are full songs...I have written down the full songs on paper and I know the tune in which the songs have to be sung. Some songs have a fast tempo, some are slow paced and others of medium pace...i.e. they are of variable tempos. Also, the songs are of a variable scale [C,B etc...about which I have no exact knowledge!].
To avoid frequent visits to the composer, I would like to be able to do this: be able to sing the 'rough song' in Garage band to the accompaniment of a basic rhythm. Any ideas of how this can be done will be welcome.
If I can have a rhythm that meets the tempo requirements of the song, I will be most happy! I would be then be able to send him [my music composer] the rough song by email.
Once again thanks for 'listening'!
