I have lost all my pics on my PC and would like to upload them to iCloud from my iPad. As they aren't in Photostream, but are in "Photos" or "iPhoto", how can I upload them to the iCloud?

They are currently in Albums within Photos, and also within albums in iPhoto, but not in Photostream. How do I upload them to the iCloud (I have bought space to ensure they will all load).
