Embedded videos in powerpoint no longer working

I have recently done the upgrades and until this time, all was well. BUT I went to play a couple of videos that are embedded into a powerpoint presentation (Microsoft 2011) and they won't play. I tried setting up a new powerpoint presentation, same problem. When I play videos that are embedded into Keynote, I don't have the problem.

It's telling me that there is a problem with Quicktime but I can't figure out how to fix this.

Anyone have a solution?

I forgot to add that this happened right after I did the OS 7 upgrade so I figured that it might have had something to do with that.
