How can I tether internet from pc to iphone using usb not wireless?

My work place computer doesn't have wireless and I can't get 3G or 4G signal on my iphone either at that place.But the computer do have internet access via ethernet cable.Please guide me how to access the PC's internet to iphone 5 via usb cable.Thanks in advance.

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1, using windows 7

Unless you can set up an ad-hoc wi-fi network with the computer, there is no way for you to do this. You cannot share the internet from the computer to the iPhone via USB. The iPhone gets its internet connection either via cellular or via wi-fi. Depending on your cellular carrier, you may be able to get a microcell device to extend the cellular signal by connecting that to the computer. That is dependent on the cellular carrier and the IT rules of your work as to whether you could connect such a device. Otherwise, there is no way to accomplish what you are asking via USB.
