My IPad screen frozen while i was playing Candy Crush i was closing the app with my hand by holding the screen while this happened i pressed the home button and ever since that happened the screen froze the ipad can receive WiFi and it can be charged and it shows on icon but the screen is still frozen.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

You mentioned the tag "reset" so I can only assume that you reset your ipad you didn't mention this and i think you should start with this before we proceed with any other interventions you also might want to list some of the other problems you may have had just in case feel free to post with your resuts ok?
