Radio song titles not showing

When I listen to itunes radio, most stations have a marquee effect that displays the name of the song that is being played. My friend has the same version of Itunes that I have but when he plays radio it just has the station, no song titles. How does he get the song titles to display like in my Itunes?

Hmm...
I wasn't able to find what you were talking about on my version of iTunes (I have version 6.0.5).
Make sure you're playing the same radio station as him first off.
Also check your preferences (not options) and see if they are the same.

We're you able to solve this problem by adjusting Preferences? If so, can you tell me how?

I'm having the same trouble with the radio displaying song titles and artists, but unfortunately I don't have a friend to compare preferences with.

Im having the same trouble, on my home computer I downloaded iTunes and can see artist and song title but on work computer I have the same version but cant see the info.... Ive lookes on prefs but cant seem to find the problem.

The data shown in the marquee is controlled entirely by the source of the audio stream. If they include artist/track info, you'll see it. If they don't send it, you just see the stream's name.

Actually you are correct, but since the release of iTune 7 the player is no longer displaying the stream information. It is displayed correctly using either media player or winamp but in itunes only the name of the station is displayed.
