Managing TV shows directly on the iPad

Hi,

I have a Mac and an iPad, and I watch a lot of TV shows purchased on iTMS, mainly on the iPad. It seems that I don't know how to use at best the Video app of the iPad, or that it lacks many functions. My questions are :

- how can I mark as seen the shows directly on the iPad, or sync correctly their seen/unseen status with the Mac (All my old TV episodes are indicated as unseen on the ipad and seen on Mac)?

- how can I delete a seen episode on iPad without having to sync with the Mac. I know that I can go to the settings and delete them in Utilisation/videos, but it is rather complicated! There is a modify button on the page of TV shows but it does nothing.

- how can I configure automatic download of the new episode on the iPad rather than on the Mac?

Regarding your second point if you just swipe left on the episode you can delete it on the ipad same as a song etc

Do you watch these shows on your iPad at home while on the same network as your Mac or when you're away from home or on another network? If the former then you are probably better off connecting you iPad to your Mac's iTunes using Home Sharing and streaming them from your Mac to your iPad over your LAN. That way you never need to copy them onto your iPad, just use it to watch them.
