Question

default PDF viewer

How do Istop my Browsers from automatically opening PDFs? Deleted Plug ins, set default program to Acrobat, Still opnes in all three browsers? Confused?

Don't know which three browsers you're referring to, but in Firefox go to Preferences > Applications, scroll down to Portable Document Format (PDF) and choose 'Always ask.'

That worked for Firefox, how do I do that same thing in Safari and Chrome?

No idea about Safari, but in Chrome, open a window and go to: chrome://plugins and deactivate whatever PDF plugins are installed (Chrome PDF Viewer, etc.).
