I can't download Mavericks...

My guess is that its not currently available in the U.S. store. 🙂

You will download it from the Mac App store, not the web page. And give it some time - it was just announced as avaialble sometime today, not necessarily instantly.

It will appear sometime today in the App Store.

I didn't see that Mavericks had been posted yet, but searching for Mavericks took me to the download file. I am downloading it now.

Tells me that Maverick can't be downloaded onto my computer. I have a 2008 Macbook. I thought this update was supposed to be backwards compatible down to 2007 macbooks. No?

Also, the 'learn more' support page takes me to Mountain Lion, which I already knew was not compatible with early 2008 Macbooks.
