Also I checked app store on my mac and the price was still $19.99. i hope they will arrange for it.
New iWork comes pre-installed with new Macs.
Otherwise you have to see whether there is a free update.
Updates are free.
iWork is not free as such.

I completely agree. My MBA is a little older than yours, but it is the latest MBA offered by Apple. They should give out iWork free to anyone with the latest devices.

I totally agree with you. I just got my MBA at the end of september and now i have to pay for the iwork. Very disappointed.
