keynote 2013 presentation mode

Does anyone know if the new Keynote announced today for Mac supports display of the cursor/pointer when in presenter mode? Previous versions did not allow this. Powerpoint does this. Without this actually presenting a Keynote is very challenging, especially for an academic who has to look at notes during presentation!

Thanks,

Mark

Sorry to belabor this point. I know can display the pointer on the external screen. But only by moving it off the Mac screen.

But when you are using an external screen (video projector) and running Keynote in presenter mode on the Mac screen. Can you see the pointer on the Mac screen as well as the external screen? I want to be able to point in the presenter mode preview window and still have the cursor on the external display.

Hi

No I never found one. And I have not tested the new Keynote in 10.9 as I assume it even has fewer features.

I ended up turning mirroring on and recording the lecture with QT player. I missed having my notes.

Apple seems to have ignored the people who really use their software like the academics, etc.

Keynote 6.1 will not display the cursor on both displays, I'm glad it doesn't, I want one cursor to control not two. It's very confusing with this in PowerPoint. The solution is simple and intuitive, move the cursor on to which ever display you want to use.
