Oct 22, 2013 4:53 PM in response to ahildebrand12by Mig190,Same here...I liked that in 7.0.2 I could turn off parallax and keep the app animation transitions, but now 7.0.3 turns off both. Is there a way to keep one and not the other?

Oct 23, 2013 5:08 AM in response to ahildebrand12by measureless,Yes, I want this option, as well. I noticed a dramatic increase in battery life turning off parallax but I hate this no-animation thing!

Oct 23, 2013 7:11 AM in response to ahildebrand12by IvanB123,That is very easy to do.Just go to settings>general>accessibility>reduce motion and turn that on http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5595

Oct 23, 2013 7:19 AM in response to IvanB123by measureless,Yes, this will disable parallax, but it will also replace the animations with the new fade transition in 7.0.3. What we're asking for is for these two effects to have separate toggles. I like the animations (hate the fade) but do not want parallax. Right now I can't see how it is possible to have one without the other.

Oct 23, 2013 7:31 AM in response to measurelessby IvanB123,I didn't know about that. They probably did it because people reporting motion sickness . And sorry but after 7.0.3 I don't think those two can be disabled separately .

Oct 23, 2013 9:26 AM in response to measurelessby varjak paw,The settings are not separate, so right now it's not possible. You can suggest this to Apple here, if you wish:

Oct 23, 2013 3:25 PM in response to varjak pawby amspratt,I agree with everyone here. Let's petition Apple to make the two settings separate. I've sent in my feedback, so hopefully 7.0.4 will see the settings separated.

Oct 27, 2013 3:40 AM in response to varjak pawby Najmann,Thanks for the link. I really want to do some suggestion. Help me (if you disagree to this update) with it so Apple create new ios update to add more Option for their Motion features. I think they just need to add like "on/off Zoom animation and on/off 3D/parallax effect on wallpaper". And also some adjustment where they can prevent on draining idevice battery..

Nov 4, 2013 8:18 PM in response to ahildebrand12by MacSmash84,I'm with all of you! I enjoy the animations but find the parallax effect a nuisance. I've already suggested to Apple to have toggle options for both. You should too!

I'm now running with reduce motion on, which is a shame, as the animations work a treat, but I really hate parallax.
I have submitted my feedback too.

Feb 20, 2014 6:15 AM in response to ahildebrand12by Austinbrown_,Hey everyone! I hope someone reads this who is still interested in knowing how to only turn off the wallpaper motion effect and not the animations because I too really wanted to be able to do this and I noticed that there is a tweak you can download from Cydia if you jailbreak your device called Disable Parallax and it does exactly that. You can still keep the animations but get rid of the moving wallpaper.

Feb 20, 2014 6:20 AM in response to Austinbrown_by IvanB123,You will be able to do this in upcoming iOS 7.1 update. When you are setting wallpaper you wil be able to disable parallex so you don't have to jailbreak only wait...I think that update is coming soon
