So i reset my iphone4 and erased all its data, now when i try to turn it back on it says it cant be activated, when i connect it to itunes it doesn't work either. Any ideas of how get it activated?

How about the exact verbiage of the error, please. More comes with it and that is necessary to understand what might be wrong.
well i got the phone like a year ago, i reset a couple days ago. when i turn it on and put in the langauge,location,and wifi info, it says 'could not activate iphone because the activation server is temperarily unavalable(but ive been trying it for days). When i connect it to itunes it basicaly gives me the same message. I think my carriers ATandT. what else do you need to know?
Do you have a SIM card in the phone? Have you jailbroken the phone? This error is one that is usually displayed with jailbroken phones. That, or if the computer was used to jailbreak a phone in the past, as it can make changes to your host file.

The SIM card should be in the phone. If the phone was working, then it should still be in the phone unless you removed it. Do you still have an active AT&T account? What caused you to reset the phone to start with?

Okay, what kind of reset did you do on the phone? Have you tried to connect to the computer and iTunes and restore the device?
what do you mean? when i go to the computer and click 'iphone' it says not avalable ot something like that
You didn't say what kind of reset you did. Did you do this from the phone? Was it a reset all content and settings?Sounds like you may have to put the device in Recovery mode and start over again. See this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

ok well i finaly got done doing this, and now im back at the same screen again...
As mentioned in the support document, you may have to do it more than once. When you say back at the same screen, I'm assuming that you mean a black screen with a USB cord and iTunes?
after i did the recovery mode, and restoreed my phone. it wehn back to the orgiginal problem i had, unable to activate on phone and itunes...
