Same problem here, It worked for a bit and I was playing around with it. Then all of the sudden it went blank (or cream colored). The suggestion to make it full screen worked, but then when I went back to a window, after a few seconds it blanked again. If you quit maps and start again, it appears for a few seconds and then blanks out. Pretty lame if this is a wide spread problem.

I also have experienced this on my iMac. I will check later to see if fullscreen makes a difference. Not that it will seem to matter. See my other post about lack of location on ethernet (not wifi). If I need to go into fullscreen mode and be on wifi (rather than ethernet), than Apple Maps is non-starter. I hate saying it, but maybe even banished from the Dock!

Same issue. Wow. Ouch. No good.

Blank beige map, no grid as the poster above me. Macbook Pro 15" 2.2g i7.

Honestly, I don't know how Apple is going to wean users off of Google maps when it's just so far ahead at this point. Also, apple really should come up with an apple maps and search website since launching the app each time you find an address on -hate to say it- google, where the map is already right there, is just another step that going to make the Apple map app an afterthought.
