I have an iPad 3 & after updating to iOS 7.0, I'm not able to clear the App Store Search History. I updated to 7.0.2 & it was still there & just today, I updated to 7.0.3 but its still there. This issue was not in iOS 6

Apparently this is supposed to be one of those features we're supposed to be happy about. I left a comment in feedback asking for a clear button. The rationale for the change is that auto-update is the default setting with iOS7. So the persistent list lets you know what has been updated. Still a way to clear the list would be nice.
Same here. The text in the search field is stuck with the last entered text, no matter how many times I delete it and restart the app and the iPad; it keeps coming back. iPhone 5s doesn't seem to have this problem.

If you want an empty search box next time you open the App Store app on your iPad, clear the existing text press the space bar and click search. Not a very good solution but it looks better than seeing your last search.

Does anyone still have this problem? My iPhone is fine but my iPad still exhibits this problem. Whenever I access the 'Purchased' and 'Updates' pages in the App Store, I see my last search since the iOS 7 update.
