Maps not showing in Mavericks Calendar

I have the same issue.

I have tried copy and paste, writing the address myself, even different combinations and still nothing.

I have also tried some well known locations like the Lonon Eye or Bickingham Palace. Still nothing.

Have anyone also noticed that the Apple maps is really lacking location aware data?

Hopefully this is just teething issues and will be fixed soon.

I had the same problem. This worked for me:

In order to get information like travel time etc. on an appointment that already exists in your calendar, you have to double-click on the line with day and time in the info window of this appointment to reveal the corrsponding drop-down menues. Hope this helps!

Same issue for me as well, I have tried editing existing appointments and also tried adding new appointments. Either way I can't get the calendar to show maps.

All that does is give stanard times, it is not location aware, like it should be.

Same issue.

The only adresses i can put in to get the wanted resault is adresses from my contacts. If i keep typing and there are no match in my contacts the field just goes static.

I sit on a Mini late 2012 hooked on Ethernet.

I have allowed Calendar at priv.settings - location settings.

Also, when it says "Traveltime 21 minutes from Work" or "from Home".

Can i change that? What desides when it's work or when its from home?

Only time i get "from work" etc. is when i choose a adress from my contacts. I can't add a new street or city..it has to be from my contacts to work proper.

So we got the same issue, only i got it working with my contacts adresses.

1:Ok can you try and double-click on an Event in Calendar.

2:Then double-click on the Location info.

This should then bring up a window with the message

(Calendar would like to set your current location) Click Yes.

Then you should see a drop-down list of choices of location to pick:

Then when you pick or type the Location (this sometimes gets a few errors first time round)

But if you complete the name helps fine tune! This should now give you your maps.

Then to get the Travel Time Click in the Time and Date area Below the Location this will give the List

were Travel Time is located.

Nope!! not doing anything when I double click on the location info!

I found the solution!

My Mac Mini was using it's Ethernet to access internet, and my wi-fi was on but sharing the ethernet connection.

I disabled internet sharing and then it worked!

Wi-fi must be active and not sharing throu it.

Really!!! thats just stupid!!!

Hmm.. works for locations it sees in my contacts but not for locations i type in randomly, like London Stansted Airport

Getting closer!

Be sure to allow Calendar in Location Services.

Also try rebooting your computer. And as i said, wi-fi must be activated.

One way to try if all is setup proper, is to open the Maps app and see if you can locate your self.

Umm thats strange

I think you need to give it time I'm on "2012 thin iMac" my connection is 10 mb but works fast n smooth.

Can you type London or what ever is closer to what you want, then click-on the Maps zone info from the

Event to open it in Maps then try searching via search field to see if this helps.

That did it, funny how reboots solve everything, but why oh why does WIFI need to be on!!! (Dont need an answer to that)
