Updated to iTunes 11.1.2 in Windows 8.1, now iTunes won't launch.

Every time I try, Windows just tells me "iTunes has stopped working." Checking online doesn't return any results (as expected). I've tried restarting and launching in safe mode - still not working. Any ideas?

If you are still having this problem, Sony Singh posted this fix in another conversation, and it worked! I have the same Windows 8.1 and iTunes version you have and had the same problem. This totally fixed it.

Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support

to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes

Simple, huh? Just reboot after youo copy and paste the above file.
