Maverick upgrade - Apps freezing 5-10 seconds?

Confirmed on my iMac from 2013.

This is not acceptable!

I am experiencing this same issue. Although with mine it does not allow me to move the mouse at all. Everything locks up for about 10 seconds. This is completely unacceptable!

I have the same problem with my 27", 3.4 i7, Imac late 2012. I'am using a Sandisk SSD with another 1TB HDD. Also I have a secondary monitor too. It is so annoying. It is happening when I'am switching between programs, mostly from safari to another app. Any help would be appreciated.

I fixed my problem by uninstalling all logitech applications, LLC and Unifying software. Also went to library prefrences, searched for any logitech files and deleted them. Restarted my computer and everything is fine now.

I re-installed and the problems started again so I un-installed it again. Looks like its a logitech issue. For now I am not using the leyboard shortcuts.

i have the same problem. I do not have any logitech devices. I have the magic mouse.

after installing twice the mavericks os my Imac 24 after a few minutes stuck, sometimes let me for 20-40 seconds and then it locks.

needs all the time to make restarts and the problem remains. my last solution now is to make a full format because the repair disk didn't not helped.

Same problem here. No Logitech apps installed.

Everything periodically stops responding for about 10 seconds on average then just comes good. Happening with multiple apps.

Very frustrating.
