Q: will Logic Express 9 run on OSX Maverick?

Thank you all for your help.

I updated LE9, as suggested, and was able to  make a test recording.

However, although the recording  shows up in the timeline, when I try to play it back, it stops after 11-13 bars and a warning comes up saying

"the system is too slow or there is overload, 10011"

When I click on more info a page comes up to advise about sms, sudden motion sensor and how to stop it.

This despite it being sitting on a flat surface  umoved.

Followed the instructions on how to turn sms off using terminal, but it doesn't seem to recognise the commands in the window and the stoppage occurs afterwards too.

Working on a MBP17  with Mavericks and 4gb of Ram

Any help greatly appreciated
