Agreed: Wise Move. To save the hours involved in re-sequencing pages in v5, I'll probably revert to Pages '09 with my next task. I say 'probably' because I'm still wondering if I need to recoup some of my lost time, which I've 'invested' in Pages v5, by learning WHY v5 is so different (difficult?). Could it be that once I understand what v5 is doing with Section and Page Breaks, movable and text-flowable objects, headers and footer changes, just maybe I'll be able to use it for simple tasks? I have successfully resequenced pages by tailoring all of the above, while very carefully monitoring the thumbnails, from top to bottom , page 1 to page 26, for any undesirable, unexpected changes to page format, which were many and took an embarassingly unbelievable amount of time. In retrospect, it appears to me that I needed to start the document from scratch, as a 'dcoument' (check box ON) and VERY CAREFULLY adjust all properties of the few objects I placed inline as I placed them in the document, NOT after they're placed in the document. Also, watching thumbnails for offsets, which indicate Section start/end, was critical, since I had to manage headers and footers (page numbers) very carefully. Of course, view Visibles and view Layout was always turned on, or Section management is nigh impossible, at my experience level. For a 26 page document, I ended up with about 6 sections and objects that each had their properties adjusted for their relative positioning with text and pages, page numbers that started and stopped where I wanted them and headers that changed at the correct page(s). Two-up view in Pages wouldv'e helped, but since that's no longer part of Pages v5, I used 2-up in the Preview PDF viewer heavily.
