I have been trying to download Maverick since yesterday and nothing is happening?? My computer is totally compatible. I have logged out of App store, many a time. Rebooted my computer, many a time. Each time I have done it and signed back into App store to try and download Maverick......nothing happens!!
Any answers or suggetions??

Don't waist your time! Look at all the problems people are having with Maverick.
Is it because everyone is trying at the same time?
What is your download speed? Mavericks requires a broadband internet connection.

And make sure your Mac meets Mavericks requirements > OS X Mavericks: System Requirements

That's 'waste' and what problems are you talking about? Every new OSX release has some people caught out due to aging hardware or incompatable third-party installs. Most of the millions of downloads so far have barely given any reports of any problems.

Anything less than 15Mbps won't work.
Mine is definitely less than that, so If that is true, then how can I get it? It never indicated that in its requirements?

I installed Maverick on my MacBook Pro and now my laptop doesn't recognize my login name and password to login. :( Now, what I am going to do?

I installed it today on all five Macs in this house and have not had one single issue. So I would suggest reinstalling or going to your local Apple Store as your situation is not normal.

I am still trying to download it and it won't let me..... woul dlove to be able to..
What happens when you click Download? Have you checked Launchpad to see if it is downloading?
Problem is there's no good indication of download progress, at least from 10.6.8. Only indicators were Activity Monitor showed consistent incoming data, and clicking on Mavericks in App Store showed 'downloading'. I kept watching a file grow in Library>Application Support>App Store, hoping to open the container to get to the install image to burn a DVD.
Knowing it would grow to ~ 5GB, I kept watching. Don't know how long it took; went to bed first!
This a.m. Install Mavericks is showing, but the file is gone!
Have you tried downloading via the updates page in the app store? It usually shows the download progress with an estimated completion time, whereas if you download from the product page, it normally would not?
Just an idea, I haven't actually downloaded it yet so I'm just guessing.
