I can't open my mail program. t crashes when I try to reopen it. Any solutions for this problem?

You can try this...
Go into Terminal and type in the following:
defaults delete com.apple.mail ColorQuoterColorList

I am having the same problem. I tried your terminal solution and I get the following error:
Domain (com.apple.mail) not found
I don't know why you get this error... I just type this command: "defaults delete com.apple.mail ColorQuoterColorList" and automatically have recieved the last emails notifications...
Search for J.K. ROFLing and ask him.
Is your mail working now? Mine has all kinds of graphics anomolies and will not launch a viewer.

What kind of Mail account are you using? Is your mail stored only locally?
Try to repair disk permissions first.
If your mail is also on a server and provided that you have a backup of your rules, signatures, etc, you can try the following:
go to ~/Library/Mail
Delete all contents of the Mail folder. Don't delete the Mail folder.
Go to ~/Library/Preferences
Delete the file com.apple.mail.plist
The above actions will delete all local mail and reset the app completely! If you don't have a backup of your mail don't follow these actions!

Ich nutze Googlemail und yahoomail. Beide sind natürlich über das Web erreichbar und meine Mails sind dort in voller Schönheit. Nur die Mail Anwendung auf meinem MacAir läßt sich nicht mehr öffnen sondern stürzt jedesmal ab.

So: the issue has not been fixed so far. A lot of users seems to have the same issue.

Komisch. Versuch mal in Finder mit Shift+Cmd+G den Ordner so aufzumachen:
For all other english speaking members, please use Shift+Cmd+G to open the Go to folder dialog in Finder and type exactly what you see in the screenshot. Does the folder open?
Can you post a screenshot of your library folder?
Go to Finder and click on the Go to menu by using the alt key pressed. The library option will appear. Please open it and make a screenshot of its contents.

Ansonten könnte man auch folgendes probieren:

Terminalergebnis:
Domain (com.apple.mail) not found.
Defaults have not been changed.
Kannst Du den Ordner V2 samt Unterordner wegkopieren, bzw. löschen? Dann geh auf ~/Library/Preferences und die com.apple.mail.plist Datei löschen.
Im Anschluß Mail starten
