Checkt the Wacom website for v10.9 Maverick driver updates.
I did that. Did you see an update there?
Same issue here. Wacom tablet is not seen by Mavericks. Re-installed, re-booted. Nothing, nada. Switched back to snow leopard.
Not going to purchase a new tablet for having few more gimmicks to play with. Even if these are free.
I'm having the same issue, too. I tried reinstalling the driver at Wacom twice and rebooting several times but nothing works. I'm glad I cloned my Snow Leopard system so I will go back to that until Apple or Wacom fixes this problem. The new OS should work with this device and I'm disappointed that Apple (or Wacom) hasn't made this right since they tout their system for creatives.
Same issue here. Installed the newest driver, and now i have control off the tablet again. But the performance is absolutely terrible. It constantly lags, and if the CPU is at more than 20% i can hardly do anything. Intous 5 on a MacPro 2012.
Mine does not work either. Can I switch back to the old OS?
Jason, how did you switch back? My tablet does not work either. All I can do for the moment is work on my laptop which has the old system.
Thanks,
Teresa

I was almost certain that the new osx would be trouble as was Lion and after that Mountail Lion. So, instead of my usual hard drive clone, which I make with superduper, I made a second one just to be certain. After 10 minutes of Mavericks, I am happy back to snow leopard.
I really think that it is the most developed, glitch free operating system. If it wasn't for all these money thirsty companies stopping the support of the previous op. systems perhaps we could stop at Snow leopard. What more to ask. Even aesthetically osx 10.9 is much worse that snow leopard.
Anyway, long answer. sorry. It is a good habit to clone your HD once in a while.
p.s. my only reason for wanting to upgrade is because Lightroom stopped support but I am still doing my work with the previous versions. I guess people will allways think that if they have the newest, biggest, baddest version of a software will make them better in what they do..or in who they are, really.
Thank you, Jason. Unfortunately I did not make a copy, but maybe I can get one from Mac.
you can always make a clean install from the disc that your mac came with or perhaps find it online and download it.
I finally got the tablet to work. I used Disk Utility to repair the permissions, restarted and then it worked. I saw this fix on another board. One person had to restart several times but it finally worked.
Thank you Caroline, I will try this.

Greetings Jason,
Just thought I would follow up and let you know that I did download the latest driver from Wacom, installed it, and hallelujah, my tablet works again!
thanks for your help,
Teresa
I did the same thing as TeresaAK -- driver update followed by repairing permissions followed by restart -- and my Wacom Intuos is now working.

I had to install the old driver and not the latest from wacom and that did the trick for me !
