Snap to Grid problems

Just updated the OS and for the first time have these problems with my MacBookPro 15 (early 2011):

Snap to Grid option doesn't work properly, if I move an icon - it might move in completely random direction or just refise to move to a chosen location. I'm not thrilled by an opportunity of re-moving all the icons that were properly arrange on the Mountain Lion by hand, but it seems that it's whether a general bug, or just different grid used in new version and I'll have to move all the stuff manually, which is the worst option.

Please fix!

Quite disappointed, if it's not fixed - I might go back to the Mountain Lion!
