Just letting people know that thievery isn't the only way you get other peoples iPads, there are some real people out here.
Yes and there are solutions for persons in that situation. Real people can and do obtain assistance from Apple. If you are, in fact, the legitimate owner of the iPad, you can also obtain assistance. There is no need for your denigrating sarcasm. On the other hand, you're making me believe that you did not obtain this iPad legally.

Jun 2, 2015 7:54 PM in response to saulavby bobseufert,You're welcome. Since you asked I got help less then 15 minutes ago from someone I never met. In the case of the iPad I didn't give you advice I told you estate law. If you're not the executor people can't help you.

Jun 2, 2015 9:02 PM in response to Onosgrby bobseufert,I'm not sure how your friend's ID ended up on your iPad but I believe the proceedure to change it is the same as if you were getting ready to sell you iPad. Once all your friends info is off your iPad your set it up as new or from a back-up. See the article below.

Jun 3, 2015 8:59 AM in response to Onosgrby rccharles,You should not be sharing an apple id.
MY Apple ID was linked with another user after I helped him activate his iPad Air with my id...
You should have created a new apple id for him.
Now I can't log out his id from my ipad4, we are sharing 1 Apple ID and it's not even mine but his..
??? What is the story. You said that you used your apple id. Now you say it is his. Did you give him the password? Perhaps he changed it.
I've tried to log his out of my iPad but it is not working. Please help because I'm new to this ios
Get with him. Get an apple id for each device. Drop down to one device for each apple id.

Jun 13, 2015 11:59 AM in response to caspar35by At Peace,Are you guys for real?
My nephew bought iPad 2, did not need any more as he purchased update. Some time later, he gave it to my dad and set it up for him. A new toy for him at age 82, he filled up 16gb in no time with pictures and songs. Now, not only it was very slow. but he could not connect to iCloud. None of the family members can remember any passwords used. I got hold of the unit to reformat but now getting stuck. It's not stolen, not sold / purchased ... just passed to another member of the family but no one knows any of the passwords used. So what next, All you who always think of theft and security, there is something as forgetting the details! By the way, we did visit Apple store whose response was, "iPad 2 is now 'old and out-dated, get a new one!" Should have gotten Samsung instead!
Does anyone have any idea how to bypass AppleID or k*******@iCloud.com password? Please?<Edited By Host>

Calling people morons is not a good way to seek help.

Jun 13, 2015 12:31 PM in response to At Peaceby gail from maine,Does your nephew remember the Apple ID (email address) that he used when he signed into iCloud and turned on Find My iPhone on this device? Unless he has had tons of email addresses, it should be very hard to pinpoint. Once you know the Apple ID email address, you can have that same nephew log that Apple ID email address into Apple - My Apple ID and click on Reset Password to change the password. If he doesn't remember the answers to his Security Questions, he can contact Apple Support to reset them for him so he can then proceed with the password reset:
Once your nephew has gotten the password to that Apple ID reset, he can tell you what it is so you can reformat the device.

Who are you? I have not seen your post describing your exact issues. Take it to an Apple Store with your receipt of purchase. We can't see your iPad from here.
Good luck
