Chrome bookmarks in iCloud

Hi,

I am using both Chrome and Safari on a Mac, and I am looking for a way to sync my bookmarks between both browsers. So far I only found a Chrome extension for Windows to sync bookmarks to iCloud. Is there something similar for Mac?

THe reason why I'm not using one browser is that on my work iMac I only work on Chrome. On my private MBP I work with Safari...

Thanks,

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

I was a long-time user of Xmarks. However, I've found that after upgrading to Mavericks (OS X 10.9), the extension is broken. It appears this is due to the removal of iSync. It's causing issues for me in Office for Mac 2011 (especially Outlook for Mac 2011) as it can no longer sync contacts locally, notes, etc.

Looks like blame is being thrown arround on this: Apple took away the sync services, but neither MicroSoft or Xmarks came up with a plan for a reliable fix before Mavericks went into wide-release.

If you have any Windows PC, one way to accomplish this is to add the extension to the Windows PC and then Chrome will automatically sync across all devices and computers using Chrome and then via the iCloud WIndows sync it will then sync with iCloud and Safari. It's worked for me and has allowed me to have fully synced bookmarks across Windows, Mac and iOS devices with both Safari and Chrome.

OS mavericks - no Windows involved in this newly derived question (can start new thread if needed)

I've set up icloud to update bookmarks in my different systems.

Say I prefer Chrome than Safari and I have both in my MacBook Air running Mavericks.

How to I sync Chrome bookmarks to mirror Safari's?

In other words Safari is where I initially bookmark (or read later) and I want the bookmarks to be synced' if/when I use Chrome in the same machine.

I tried installing the iCloud Bookmarks on Chrome but I learned that's only for Windows.

Thanks.
