Is there a way to listen to video podcasts while doing other things on the IPhone.

Question

Is there a way to listen to video podcasts while doing other things on the IPhone.

I was able to listen to a video podcast, exit the app and then double tap and hit play and that continue the podcasts, while doing other things like go on the internet or play a game. Now I can't this started with the iOS 7 (not bashing it FYI)

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.2

Works for me with the earphones as follows:

1) start listening to the video podcast

2) switch the screen off

3) press the play button on the earphones

and voila, the video resumes playing with audio only.

But how can I do other things on my phone, like play a game while listening to a podcast.
