5th gen iPod touch disconnects from Apple TV

We have a 5th gen iPod touch running the latest version of iOS7 and use Airplay on it to mirror Pandora to our Apple TV. Lately, we've had it disconnect from the Apple TV many times. We've tried restarting both the iPod touch, Apple TV, Pandora and even our wireless, but it still occurs. We recently tried doing the same from an iPad 3 we have and it doesn't disconnect from the Apple TV like the iPod touch does. Any ideas?

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Power off and then back on the router

- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

- Restore from backup. See:
