Q: Is there any way to make the font size in the Notes app bigger?

The font size in the Notes app used to be at 14px in Mountain Lion, but now in Mavericks it's a size smaller and to my eyes that is too small. (I'm talking about the Helvetica default option)

 

I know you can compose a new note by making the size bigger each time, but I'd like for it to be bigger by default and for all the cases where I've initially composed the notes on my iPhone.

 

I don't see an option to do that, and I wish there was one.

Well, I've finally found the solution here:

Mavericks has the default size setting to 13, from 14 that used to be in Lion. You can manually change it by editing some hidden files, as described below.
