"displays have separate spaces" unchecked also removes menubar from second display

Hi,

Waiting for a long time to have the menubar on both displays. At first very happy with the Mavericks view which did this (finally). Avoids needing to go to the other display to use the menu.

However, as I use to work with 4 spaces, each spanning both display for easier overview and work, scrolling through the spaces is done on a display per display basis. As per design I learned.

So in order to have both displays scrolling through the spaces at the same time, I unchecked the "displays have separate spaces".

This also removes the menubar from the second monitor...

Is there some way to have eth "separate spaces" turned off while keeping the menubar on the second display?

Kind Regards,

Geert
