Has anyone else noticed that the use of the Finder back/forward gestures are gone in Mavericks? Anyone heard of a solution yet. Sent Apple Feedback.

Same Problem here. Annoying. I switched back to 10.8.
I hope Apple fixes the problem.
Gestures is not working like it did before. The side to side, forward back swipe, is very picky. Sometimes it takes four or five tries before it works. And yes I know how to do it. I have had a magic trackpad for about one year. And was greatly pleased by how it worked, BEFORE Mavericks. It has has indeed changed.
same problem, hoped a recent update would help...but alas still cant swipe with my trackpad...time to crack out some old school quick keys
i have found that it does still work, but it is a bit more finiky about the gestures. I am not defending it. It has been annoying to me also.
before I could just lazily swipe back and forth, worked perfectly. Now it doen't.
Now, set two fingers on the pad, for 1/2 second or so, then swipe, and it does OK.
I agree, it needs to be fixed.
i have got the solution for this..
install a third party app. Better Touch Tool (BTT).. add a new touchpad gesture named as "three finger swipe back/forward"..then in "Custom Keyboard Control" press "command+up arrow" for back & "command+down arrow" to forward in Finder in Mavericks.
I guess this is the best solution i have come across so far.
