konica minolta printer driver

We have two different model Konica Minolta networked multifunction printer/scanner devices in two offices. Windows users get to control color or just B&W printing and two-sided or single sided printing, but our Mac users (10.8.5) using the Mac driver from the vendor's CD get none of those options. One of the printers is a Bizhub C284e model.

Does anyone have a solution or are we just not using the drivers properly?

We have a Bizhub 363 and I just downloaded the latest driver from last year. I goes through 8.x, but it doesn't work. Minolta needs to create a new driver for Mavericks. The error message says that there are security issues with the old driver. I can see the print options in the print dialog box, but they are struck through and can't be used. Hopefully Minolta will get it together and issue a new driver for Mavericks. I can print fine at home with another printer, but the Minolta at work is now problematic. I have to use the old iWork modules if I want to print. I can't use the new pages, etc. Let's go Minolta!
