My MBP keeps restarting, PLEASE HELP

I've had my MBP since 2010, I love this computer, but in the last year or so I've started having problems with sudden & recurring restarts.

I'm losing my mind, I was hoping the problem was with the Mountain Lion OS, but this morning I upgraded to Mavericks & the restarts have persisted.

I should have known better than to think it was the OS.

I upgraded my RAM to 8GB & my HD too, otherwise, she's a stock 2009 MBP.

I'm not savvy at reading error codes, please help me understand!

Based on the information that you have provided, you have a 13" 2009 MBP. I suggest that you install the original RAM in your MBP and you may find that your problems will disappear. The RAM specifications for your MBP model are: 204-pin PC3-8500 (1066 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM. You have RAM installed with a higher frequency.

Macs are very selective with RAM. The best sources for Mac compatible RAM are OWC and Crucial.

Ciao.
