Upgrading to Mavericks

About two years ago I bought a Mac mini server with lion. I was wondering if upgrading to Mavericks (for free! Awesome) would erase or change anything on my server app or my services wouldn't work anymore?

Nevermind. Just tried to install and got warning "OS X Mavericks supports OS X Server version 3. Installing Mavericks on this volume will disable the current server functionality until you purchase and install OS X Server version 3 from the Mac App Store".
