The Sims 3 on brand new Macbook Air?

I've just bought a Macbook Air that runs on Mountain Lion. I went to the store today to look at The Sims 3 - it says it is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5.7 Leopard or higher, and not compatible with Power PC Macintoshes. This means it should work on my new Macbook Air right?
