Is iMovie Theater Apple TV app available in UK?

I'm all updated on the Mavericks, iOS front when it comes to all the updated apps.

I'd seen and heard reports of the addition of iMovie Theater as a new app on Apple TV (an update we had to action I understand through the usual 'general' menu).

My software says it's up-to-date, however, and there is no sign of this mysterious update or app.

Anybody know whether it's one of these increasingly annoying 'American only' updates? Haven't seen any other comments on it anywhere.

I'm running an ATV 2nd gen, iPad 3 and iPhone 5 if that makes an iota of difference...

Same question - Apple TV 2 with no iMovie Theatre - hoping it's just a slow rollout to the rest of the world rather than a mix-up - expecially as the UK apple website has iMovie Theatre listed on Apple TV

Perhaps it isn't included for the UK. Anybody?

Thanks for responding.

I've checked my iMovie on iOS (under settings). It's already set up as 'upload to iCloud' (i.e. the toggle is switched to 'on').

So are you saying that this app only appears if I now go on to create a movie film/trailer under the 'theater' tab in iMovie and then upload it?

I love Apple but sometimes I little explanation about updates would be beneficial.

Oh, and I'm already signed in to iCloud on my Apple TV so there's nothing more I can do from that side of things.

If you answer 'yes' to my question above, would the app disappear from Apple TV if you deleted the films/trailers you created in the theater section of the app on any device?

I did this , but the channel not appear.

I have the last version of MacOsX (Mavericks) and the last version of iMovie and the last versions of the AppleTV.

Hey all mines appeared now- I uploaded 3 movies, and turned on icloud on Apple TV. Also, I note this does use your icloud data quota.

I uploaded a test movie on my iOS device and tadaa! - there it was magically on my Apple TV. Thanks for the advice @diesel vdub - this sorted it for me.

Just a bit browned off Apple didn't give a clue - at least an obvious one to get this sorted.
