Thanks for the question. I understand you are experiencing issues with iCloud mail on your Mac. The following resources may help to resolve your issue:

If you cannot receive mail in OS X Mail
Locate the name of your iCloud account on the left side of the main Mail window. If your iCloud account name is dimmed and has a lightning-bolt symbol next to it, your account is offline. To bring your account online, make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet, then choose Mailbox > Take All Accounts Online. If that doesn't resolve the issue, follow these steps:
1. Choose Preferences from the Mail menu.
2. Click Accounts in the Preferences window.
3. Select your iCloud account from the list of accounts.
4. Click the Advanced tab and verify these settings:
- Port: 993
- Use SSL: (selected)
- Authentication: either "Password" or "Apple Token"

To isolate the issue further, you may want to try signing into iCloud.com and confirm that you can send and receive mail there.

May 11, 2014 7:57 AM in response to matt00by liannarino,Hi - I am having the same issue with my icloud mail account, as well as all my gmail accounts. exact same error message. its been this way for almost a month. when I'm on my home wifi network, all email accounts in mail on every device connected to wifi go offline and cant connect to the server. other wifi networks are fine, and when i switch my phone to LTE, i can get all emails with no problem. ive reset passwords, routers, modems... i feel like ive tried everything. other people's email accounts dont work either when connected to my wif. i feel like we've tried anything. is there anything else you can do to help? we are using an apple airport express router.
